I recently watched a Kannada Movie , MaLeyali Joteyali starring Ganesh ,"Rainy Star" .
I was infact fascinated by the title of it as it had some “MaLe” in it.
First Half of the movie is quite hilarious and seems to be adaptation of his Own "Mungaru MaLe".
I kind of had a doubt if it could be better titled as "Mungaru MaLe - 2" .Frequent rainy scenes, the music, the location, picturization the hero himself with the way he speaks have flavor of Mungaru MaLe. Just to remind you of the fact even MM was release sometime in December itself.
Nevertheless, rib tickling comedy , to be specific in the first half of it, is much appreciated ,remembered, loved applauded by anyone who watches it.
My favorite dialogue from the movie is "... Avan maavan magalu Bombay-ge Heroine aaagbeku antha hogidlu.Evan hatra bandu ad yaaava scene acting maaDdlo eno? avanu-avalanne madve aaagibitta" .
Ganesh is too good at everything he does as usual.Sharan as his friend, and Rangayana Raghu , as his dad have also given justice to their roles.
All kudos to the dialogues writer.
Second half of the movies is just bearable. I honestly have nothing much to talk about it. Everything moves as u think it will be.
Two actresses in the leading roles have managed to do their job.
Music is just ok ,bearable and seems apt to the situation .Yet, I can't think of any song which is hummable.
Altogether, the movie is a good family entertainment. You can have real good stress bursting comedy.
The funny dialogues overshadow the subject/screenplay/negative points about the movie. You would come out of cinema hall with all smiles. What more do you need?
While you watch it, please do not compare it to Mungaru MaLe. I know that you cant help doing so.
Devadasanige marethu bitra neevu.. :( Mungaaru Male nayaka avane kanri.. avane...!!! :P
