New Year Eve

The year is ending ,tomorrow is is not just a new day

But a new month,a new year and a new moment.

Why do you wait for a year to feel this good, this happy and dream big?

Why do you celebrate a change in a day only on today?

Or do you just need a reason to celebrate.?

Should this feel of joy last only for a day or two?

Well, then go ahead and make every moment yours.

Let everyone of you be cheerful now ,later and forever.

A very happy time ahead .

..... MaLeyali Joteyali

I recently watched a Kannada Movie , MaLeyali Joteyali starring Ganesh ,"Rainy Star" .

I was infact fascinated by the title of it as it had some “MaLe” in it.
First Half of the movie is quite hilarious and seems to be adaptation of his Own "Mungaru MaLe".
I kind of had a doubt if it could be better titled as "Mungaru MaLe - 2" .Frequent rainy scenes, the music, the location, picturization the hero himself with the way he speaks have flavor of Mungaru MaLe. Just to remind you of the fact even MM was release sometime in December itself.
Nevertheless, rib tickling comedy , to be specific in the first half of it, is much appreciated ,remembered, loved applauded by anyone who watches it.
My favorite dialogue from the movie is "... Avan maavan magalu Bombay-ge Heroine aaagbeku antha hogidlu.Evan hatra bandu ad yaaava scene acting maaDdlo eno? avanu-avalanne madve aaagibitta" .
Ganesh is too good at everything he does as usual.Sharan as his friend, and Rangayana Raghu , as his dad have also given justice to their roles.
All kudos to the dialogues writer.
Second half of the movies is just bearable. I honestly have nothing much to talk about it. Everything moves as u think it will be.
Two actresses in the leading roles have managed to do their job.
Music is just ok ,bearable and seems apt to the situation .Yet, I can't think of any song which is hummable.

Altogether, the movie is a good family entertainment. You can have real good stress bursting comedy.

The funny dialogues overshadow the subject/screenplay/negative points about the movie. You would come out of cinema hall with all smiles. What more do you need?
While you watch it, please do not compare it to Mungaru MaLe. I know that you cant help doing so.

I, Myself and iPhone

Most of you would agree with me that Women are not so addicted to their phone when compared to men. Some of them are very possessive about their phone and would treat it like kind of jewels. Most of the times the phone would be left in the bag without answering call on time. Nevertheless, phone is so essential nowadays that everyone would prefer to have one.

Well, I too am not so fascinated to cell phone. Once I started working, I bought a nokia phone which sometime later was replaced by another nokia phone. I travelled abroad and I got a Blackberry model for free with the cellular connection there. Even though BB was known as PDA, it was nothing more than a phone, receive and make calls, for me. Now and then I would change the font type, screen saver, ring tone.

Vivek had an iphone then and he would speak a lot on I-phone features and specifications which never bothered me much. Yet I liked exploring since it was a touch phone. My BB was almost dying then. Sometime later he bought me an I phone too and I got a nice cover with it. Vivek configured the phone for me ,updated ipod and added some applications. I started using it . I was all thrilled. My colleagues who noticed my phone would stop by at my desk. I got a special attention and I was enjoying it. I still often leave it at restroom/others’ desk/leave it on my desk and never carry it for the fear of losing it.

It was Friday .I was in the cab travelling back home. As I neared my stop , I unplugged my phone and talking to the cab mates reminding them to attend my marriage. I would be on Wedding Vacation for three weeks since then. I usually put my phone in my bag before I get down from cab. Once I got down from the cab I started looking for it and I realized that I don’t have it with me. So what do I do now? I have left it in cab for sure. And now I should try to reach someone in the cab. Phones lost in cabs are never found is a known fact. After all , who would bother to return an iphone ?I just ran towards my home as if there is some serious threat for my life. I somehow had to reach one of my cab mates. I remembered that my black berry phone had Ananths’s number, whose stop was only few kilometers from mine. I was just hoping to reach him before he gets off the cab. Unfortunately, BB had no charge. Damn it! . I then thought of my small notepad where I had written down couple of cell phone numbers .It helped me a great deal.I searched it for Ananth’s number and thankfully I found it. I actually don’t remember when I had written it down though. I called him up immediately. For my good luck, he was still in cab , found the phone . The very next day, myself and Vivek went and collected it. It indeed was a great relief.

....... Be Back After a Short Break

What do you do when they say "we'll be back right after a short commercial break"?.Needless to change you change channels, you look for something worth watching. You keep flipping channels and you see either ads or something you don’t like.
I would suggest don’t change channel for a change and watch ads. They are so entertaining at times.
I really do it and have my favorites too.
One of the recent ads that grabbed my attention is clinic plus one. It goes like this,
"Mom is dropping her daughter to school. Mom has long hair while daughter has shoulder length of it. Daughter just tells mom that even she wants long hair like he mom has. Mom then justifies saying," You granny was staying at home, not working unlike me and hence had time to take care of my hair. The daughter then ends up saying "Mom, even you don’t go to work”. I think most of the ladies give the same excuses for having short hair. The concept of his ad is really catchy, simple, relevant and has defined target of consumers.
Unlike many other fancy ads which fail to convey the message and leave any kind of impression on consumers. Another one, I like is Bingo ad. The recent ad for bingo Red chilli bijli .Girl and a guy on their balcony talking to each other with gestures. Girl is seemingly upset with him and guy is trying to please her. At last girl blows a kiss and guy pretends to catch it and keep it in pocket and pocket is set on fire. What I like about this ad is their expressions, jingle and music. It is very entertaining.
Once most famous zoo zoo - vodafone ads are back now. They are as good as they used to be before, apart from the fact that we have already had enough dose of them.
Apart from these, there are Ads featuring High profile Actors/Couple- actors. Sometimes nice and sometimes you wonder what they are trying to say. You might like them if it has your favorite actor in it. But, I really liked Lux ad with Aishwarya/Abhishek bachchan.Actaully, Neither of them are my fav though. However, they both look good together, acted well and all also jingle that plays in the background has made the ad look very romantic.
Well. I am done with the break for now. and will get back to my work.
See you later.
